At Familiar Stranger, we believe in the power of storytelling and creating meaningful experiences that bring people together. That's why we were thrilled to work alongisde Young Hero in partnership with Jagermeister and The Lesbian Bar Project to launch their new three-part series, highlighting the unique stories of Pearl Bar in Houston, Boycott Bar in Phoenix, and New York's Henrietta Hudson, and the vibrant LGBTQ2Ia+ communities that support them.

To celebrate the launch of this groundbreaking series, we teamed up with Young Hero and Figment to create the first-ever lesbian bar in the metaverse, using cutting-edge technology and partnering with queer content creators in decentraland and historians at the Library of Congress to showcase the rich history of lesbian bars and elevate LGBTQ2Ia+ voices.

But we didn't stop there. We also brought the experience to life with in-person activations in Phoenix, Houston, and New York, where guests were invited to enjoy the premiere screenings of each episode and explore the metaverse on our custom portal. We believe that by bringing together technology, creativity, and community, we can create unforgettable experiences that spark conversation and inspire change.
